Who we are

What we offer
Tarot content for reflection and entertainment: a card of the day, a yes or no card, card meanings, birth and year card calculators, a moon journal and readings of the cards you draw. Tarot has no proven power to predict the future. A reading offers perspectives, not facts or outcomes.
Readings are written by AI
Readings are generated automatically by an artificial intelligence model (Claude, by Anthropic) from the cards you draw, their traditional meanings and your question. No human reads or checks your reading before you see it. AI text can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation.
No professional advice
A reading is no substitute for a doctor, psychologist, lawyer, financial adviser or other professional. Do not use it for decisions about health, medication, money, gambling, legal matters or safety. If you are in crisis or in danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe) or a helpline. When a question suggests this, we show helplines instead of a reading.
Age
Selendora is intended for people aged 18 or older. Only people aged 18 or older may buy a deep reading.
Free features
Free readings are limited per day. We may change, limit or end free features at any time.
Deep reading: price and contract
The price is shown on the order page, including VAT. You pay once, in advance, through our payment provider Stripe; there is no subscription. The contract is concluded when your payment succeeds. You then draw your cards and receive your reading on screen. You receive a confirmation of your order, including your consent described under 'Right of withdrawal', by e-mail. We do not store readings, so copy your reading if you want to keep it.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. A deep reading is digital content. Before ordering, you ask us to start immediately and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once the reading starts. The reading starts when you begin drawing your cards after payment. Until then you can withdraw within 14 days of payment with the 'Withdraw from contract here' button on your reading page, or by e-mail to [contact e-mail]. We refund the full amount within 14 days, using your original payment method.
If something goes wrong
Your statutory rights always apply. If a paid reading is not delivered or does not match its description, for example because of a technical error, contact us and we will deliver it again or refund you. Because readings are open reflections, disagreeing with an interpretation, or events turning out differently, is not in itself a defect.
Fair use
Do not use the service to harm, harass or deceive others, to submit other people's personal data, or to bypass our limits or safety measures. We may limit access in case of misuse.
Liability
We do our best to keep the service available and careful, but we do not guarantee that a reading is accurate, complete or suitable. You remain responsible for your own decisions. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, and where the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the reading concerned. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under mandatory consumer law.
Intellectual property
The card images of the historic decks are public domain. The Soimoi deck is by Mike Koz and is used under the CC BY 4.0 licence. The texts, design, sounds and software of Selendora belong to us or our licensors. You may use and share your own readings for personal purposes.
Complaints and applicable law
Send complaints to [contact e-mail]; we reply within 14 days. Dutch law applies, but you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence. You may go to the competent court in the Netherlands or in your country of residence.
